Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has assigned the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) to coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors to promptly complete the draft resolution.

The resolution will specify assistance for Heroic Vietnamese Mothers; children whose parents died of COVID-19; female patients who are pregnant or have given birth to babies; along with medical workers, those doing other jobs but working for the healthcare sector, and medical students directly taking part in COVID-19 prevention and control.

Besides, the Deputy PM tasked the Ministry of Planning and Investment with working with the MoLISA, the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies, and relevant agencies to propose support for pandemic-hit individuals and families who have to return to their hometowns so that the target group can receive soft loans to fund their production and business activities.
