Consular Acceptance Certificate presented to Honorary Consul of Solomon Islands in Ho Chi Minh City
WVR - On March 10, at the Consular Department, Director General Doan Hoang Minh presented the Consular Acceptance Certificate to Mr. Vo Minh Hung, Honorary Consul of the Solomon Islands in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director General Doan Hoang Minh congratulated Mr. Vo Minh Hung on his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Solomon Islands in Ho Chi Minh City. The Director expressed confidence that in his new role, the Honorary Consul will make positive contributions to promoting cooperation between Vietnam and the Solomon Islands in general, as well as enhancing consular cooperation in particular.
Director General Doan Hoang Minh also affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, along with other relevant Vietnamese agencies, will always accompany, facilitate, and support the Honorary Consul of the Solomon Islands in Ho Chi Minh City to fulfill his duties effectively, contributing to fostering exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, Mr. Vo Minh Hung expressed gratitude to Director General Doan Hoang Minh for taking the time to meet and present the Consular Acceptance Certificate, especially in the context of the two countries celebrating 30 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Solomon Islands (1996-2026).
