Ao Dai parade on the streets of Ha Noi on the National Day

The first “Ao Dai connecting Ha Noi Tourism and Heritage" programme in 2023” will take place on the streets of the capital on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (19th August) and National Day (2nd September).

In order to stimulate tourism activities in the capital, spread the value of ao dai in social life and implement the plan to organise the programme of the Ha Noi Tourism Ao Dai Festival in 2023, Ha Noi Department of Tourism will chair and coordinate with the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre and the Dinh Lang Viet (Vietnamese Communal Houses) Club to organise the event.

The “Ao Dai connecting Ha Noi Tourism and Heritage 2023” programme takes place from 5.30 am to 8.45 am on 1st September. More than 100 people, including both men and women, will wear ao dai to participate in the street parade.

The parade will pass through streets with many tourist attractions in Ha Noi: Hoang Dieu - Dien Bien Phu - Doc Lap (Ba Dinh Square) - Hoang Van Thu - Hung Vuong - Thanh Nien (Tran Quoc Pagoda) - Phan Dinh Phung - Hang Dau - Tran Nhat Duat - Quan Chuong Gate - Hang Chieu - Dong Xuan - Hang Khoai - Hang Luoc - Cha Ca - Luong Van Can - Le Thai To - Hang Khay and Dinh Tien Hoang (Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square) - Cau Go - Nguyen Huu Huan - Ly Thai To - Ngo Quyen - Ly Thuong Kiet - Le Thanh Tong - Opera House - Trang Tien - Hang Khay - Trang Thi - Dien Bien Phu - Hoang Dieu - Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

This is also the opening activity for a series of events within the framework of the “Ha Noi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2023” programme, and is also an activity that connects ao dai with heritage and tourist destinations in Ha Noi. This year's programme promises to attract the attention of a large number of domestic and international friends and tourists.
