The World Tourism Runner-up 2022 from Hai Phong spreads vibrant enthusiasm on National Day in the Cao Lan traditional Ao Dai.

As a native of Hai Phong and Ambassador at the Ao Dai Festival in Hai Phong City 2025, World Tourism Runner-up 2022 Le Thi Huong Ly continues to spread her love for the Ao Dai and cultural values by proudly participating in the parade at the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2, to be held solemnly at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi.

Winning the first runner-up title in the beauty pageant further affirms Hai Phong as the "land" of beauty queens.

Standing out in the parade of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, Huong Ly will don the Cao Lan traditional Ao Dai – a design rich in cultural heritage. The graceful image of the runner-up proudly walking in the heart of the capital not only honours the beauty of the traditional Ao Dai but also ignites national pride among the people. Huong Ly shared that this is a special opportunity for her to spread her love for the traditional Áo Dài, inspire national pride, and contribute to the nation's vibrant spirit on National Day, September 2.

Master's in English, Le Thi Huong Ly is currently a lecturer in English and Japanese. Beyond her mark after being crowned World Tourism Runner-up 2022, Huong Ly actively engages in community activities, especially promoting tourism and spreading the image of the Vietnamese Ao Dai internationally. With her love for cultural heritage, Huong Ly aspires to contribute to preserving, honouring, and bringing the traditional Ao Dai closer to friends worldwide.
