| Representatives from the Embassy and the Vietnam Business Club in Myanmar conducted a charity trip to assist the people of Myanmar. |
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Loc, First Secretary of the Embassy, along with VBCM member companies including Mytel (specifically its branch in South Shan), Viettel Construction Myanmar (VCM), SONHA, StreamNet, and others, supported the people in the Inle Lake area, southern Shan State.
At Pinlaung Primary School, the delegation sponsored the construction and renovation of classrooms and donated 70 gift sets containing books, pens, and school supplies to encourage the children's learning spirit.
At Thalae Oo Monastery, in the Inle Lake area, the delegation donated 21 Son Ha water tanks to meet the domestic water needs of 21 villages around the lake. They also provided direct cash support to 157 families in the most difficult circumstances in these villages.
At the YGW orphanage in Taunggyi, where about 200 children live and study under challenging conditions lacking electricity, water, and educational equipment, the delegation (specifically VCM) installed, tested, and handed over a solar power system. They also donated educational equipment, milk, rice, cooking oil, and sweets to the children.

The people of Myanmar in the area expressed their deep appreciation for the sincere affection and support from the Embassy and the Vietnamese business community. Many residents expressed gratitude, stating that this support not only helps improve their immediate living conditions but also holds long-term significance for their livelihoods and community development.
This activity once again demonstrates the traditional solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Myanmar, while also reinforcing Vietnam's image as a responsible and reliable partner, always standing by the people of Myanmar during difficult times.
For VBCM enterprises, this is also an opportunity to reaffirm their commitment to accompanying the sustainable development of the local community.
In July 2025, the Embassy and VBCM delegation donated 26 houses, 10 clean water tanks with a capacity of 10,000 liters, drilled wells, and clean water systems serving three villages in Mandalay and Sagaing.
