Vietnamese Embassy brings Vietnam closer to Danish and international friends
WVR - On April 17, the Vietnamese Embassy in Denmark organized the event “Vietnam Today: Development Highlights, Culture, and People” to introduce and promote the image of Vietnam, its culture, and people to Danish and international friends.

The event also announced a series of activities to commemorate the 55th anniversary of Vietnam-Denmark diplomatic relations in 2026.
The event was attended by the President and members of the International Women's Club in Copenhagen, including journalists and reporters in Denmark; principals, leaders of numerous schools, and representatives of Danish agencies and organizations.

In his opening remarks, Vietnamese Ambassador to Denmark Nguyen Le Thanh emphasized that the event serves as an opportunity to “bring Vietnam closer to Danish and international friends,” not only in terms of geographical distance but more importantly, in understanding and human connection.
The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnam today is a dynamic, creative, and rapidly developing nation, expressing the hope that through cultural exchanges, education, and multi-field cooperation, the two countries will continue to strengthen their close friendship foundation, expand and deepen cooperation in various fields, especially innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development.

At the event, author Soren Davidsen, Vice President of Davidsen-K Group, who has lived and worked in Vietnam for many years, shared profound insights from a Danish perspective on Vietnamese culture and people.
He praised the spirit of independence, resilience, foreign policy, international integration, and Vietnam's remarkable development achievements; highlighting distinctive values such as hospitality, dynamism, adaptability, and the aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people.
He also noted that Vietnam-Denmark relations are increasingly developing towards equal, trustworthy partnerships, sharing common interests and visions in the context of deepening international cooperation.

The attendees engaged in lively exchanges, sharing their personal impressions and experiences about Vietnam. Many expressed deep impressions of the natural beauty, cultural richness, and especially the friendliness and hospitality of the Vietnamese people.
Some delegates recounted memorable experiences from their travels in Vietnam and expressed admiration for the resilient and heroic history of the Vietnamese nation.

The guests highly appreciated the Embassy's plan to organize a series of activities to commemorate the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, expressing their desire to participate and affirming that Vietnam will become a travel destination for themselves, their families, and friends.
The event took place in an open, friendly atmosphere, leaving many positive and lasting impressions on the guests, thereby continuing to promote the image of a modern, integrated Vietnam rich in cultural identity to international friends.
