Vietnamese Consulate General in Khon Kaen pays tribute to Mr Xaysomphone Phomvihane
WVR - On August 11, at the Lao Consulate General in Khon Kaen (Thailand), the delegation from the Vietnamese Consulate General in Khon Kaen laid a wreath, signed the condolence book, and observed a minute of silence in memory of Mr Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Politburo Member and President of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR.

Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh expressed profound sorrow at the passing of Mr Xaysomphone Phomvihane and extended heartfelt condolences to the Party, State, and people of the brotherly Lao nation, as well as to the family of Comrade Xaysomphone Phomvihane.
Emotionally signing the condolence book at the Lao Consulate General, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh emphasised:
“Comrade Xaysomphone Phomvihane was an outstanding leader who made significant contributions to the construction and development of Laos. He also played a crucial role in fostering the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
We solemnly bow before his spirit. The special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos will forever be preserved, nurtured, and strengthened by future generations of both nations.”
