In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh and the delegation laid a wreath, observed a moment of silence, and expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Xaysomphone Phomvihane, an outstanding leader of the Party, State, and people of the brotherly Lao nation, as well as a close and loyal friend of the Party, State, National Assembly, and people of Vietnam.

Extending heartfelt condolences to the Party, State, National Assembly, and people of Laos, as well as the family of Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh affirmed that the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic ties between Vietnam and Laos will forever be preserved, nurtured, and strengthened by future generations of both countries.
