The Vietnam Talent Awards was initiated by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education and is co-organized and principally sponsored by the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).

Over nearly two decades, the Awards have attracted more than 7,500 authors with over 3,500 submitted products and projects. Many award-winning works have gone on to reach international markets.

In 2025, the Awards will continue to be launched in the following fields: Digital Technology; Youth Innovation; Medicine & Pharmacy; Education; Agriculture; Natural Resources & Environment; and Self-study & Lifelong Learning Achievements.

In the Digital Technology category, the Vietnam Talent Awards 2025—hosted by VNPT—carries the theme: “AI and Big Data – Technology for Breakthrough Innovation”.

This is not only the technical direction for this year’s competition but also reflects the continuation of the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on the development of science and technology, innovation, and the national digital transformation.

In particular, the 2025 theme aims to promote solutions applying core technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, blockchain, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), quantum computing, and more, into fields of daily life, production, and governance.

The Awards especially encourage products with high applicability that contribute directly to building a Digital Government, Digital Economy, and Digital Society, ensuring data security and cybersecurity, enhancing national governance capacity, and improving the quality of services for citizens and businesses.

With such a vision, the Awards is not merely a technology competition but also a platform to connect Vietnamese intellect with the mission of national digital transformation, fostering the formation of an innovation ecosystem led by Vietnamese talent.

According to the organizers, the Digital Technology category was launched earlier this year and, as of now, has attracted more than 130 high-quality submissions, diverse in content and closely aligned with the set theme.

In the Self-study & Lifelong Learning Achievements category, the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education has widely implemented the program across all localities through its provincial and municipal branches nationwide.

The Awards has received enthusiastic participation from members, amateur inventors, and creative workers at the grassroots level.

As of July 29, after the preliminary round, the organizers have selected 5 outstanding projects nominated for the 2025 Self-study & Lifelong Learning Achievements Award, including: Flood and rising water warning pole using flare signals (Bac Giang Province); 360-degree rotating hydraulic sugarcane grabber (Tay Ninh Province); Soil trenching device (Tien Giang Province); NH-10/70 honey refining machine (Thanh Hoa Province); and Application of tea enzyme-killing tube in the production process (Thai Nguyen Province).

Other fields are being coordinated closely with relevant ministries, research institutes, universities, and professional associations to introduce, select, and guide entries.

The deadline for submissions in the Digital Technology category will be at the end of August 2025.

Authors and groups of authors can send entries via email to giaithuongnhantaidatviet@gmail.com before August 31, 2025.

Submissions can also be delivered in person to: Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Talent Awards – 14th Floor, VNPT Building (57 Huynh Thuc Khang – Lang Ward – Hanoi).
