Vietnam Excellence Awards 2025: Spreading Vietnamese cultural and artistic values in the era of integration

This is a nationwide cultural event organised annually by Dai Doan Ket newspaper in collaboration with ZOA Group, aiming to honour outstanding individuals, groups, works, and initiatives in the field of Vietnamese culture and arts.

Speaking at the event, Dr Nguyen Dang Khang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket newspaper, emphasised that culture is an intrinsic strength, the foundation of the nation, and a resource for national development. According to him, the Vietnam Excellence Awards are organised to encourage creativity, inspire, and spread positive values in society, contributing to building a Vietnamese cultural and artistic ecosystem in the new era.

Meanwhile, People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien stated that in the current context of deep globalisation, national culture remains a steadfast spiritual foundation. The Vietnam Excellence Awards inspire artists, helping them steadfastly preserve national identity during the process of creativity and international integration. Mr. Vi Kien Thanh, former Director of the Cinema Department, also noted that the Organising Committee needs to build a unique identity for the awards to create a more profound impact and influence in society, thereby becoming a new symbol of Vietnamese cultural creativity and pride.

According to poet Hong Thanh Quang, the awards not only honour achievements but also encourage the spirit of creative endeavour, aiming to shape new values for contemporary Vietnamese culture.

The Vietnam Excellence Awards 2025 include three main categories: Musical Excellence, Multi-disciplinary Artistic Excellence, and Dedication Excellence, for individuals with enduring contributions to the development of national culture and arts. The judging panel comprises many reputable figures in the arts community, such as poet Hồng Thanh Quang, People's Artist Tran Ly Ly, People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, musician Nguyen Hai Phong, musician Huy Tuan, and artist Vi Kien Thanh.

According to poet Hong Thanh Quang, the concept of "Vietnamese Excellence" will be viewed from multiple perspectives, thereby identifying the standards of outstanding Vietnamese values in the context of deep international integration. The awards not only honour achievements but also encourage the spirit of creative endeavour, aiming to shape new values for contemporary Vietnamese culture.

According to the plan, nominations for the Vietnam Excellence Awards 2025 will be accepted from October 15 to November 15, 2025, through the official website and TikTok platform, using the program's hashtag. The nomination and voting list will be announced from December 12, 2025, to January 1, 2026, and the Gala awards night is expected to take place in January 2026.

With a spirit of promoting creativity, honouring identity, and encouraging national pride, the Vietnam Excellence Awards are expected to become a bridge spreading Vietnamese cultural and artistic values to audiences both domestically and internationally, contributing to affirming Vietnam's cultural position in the global integration flow.
