The event took place within the framework of the Vietnam-Thailand Business Forum, contributing to opening a new phase of cooperation in economy, investment, tourism, and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations.

Expanding the New Generation Boeing Fleet in Thailand
Vietjet Thailand will receive its 10th Boeing 737-8 aircraft in May 2026, continuing its strategy to develop a modern fleet in Thailand. From the current scale of 22 aircraft, the airline aims to expand to 50 Boeing 737-8 aircraft in the near future.
This is a significant step in Vietjet's fleet development program with the new, modern Boeing aircraft, contributing to building the airline fleet of Thailand and the region, while laying the foundation for expanding the international flight network connecting Thailand with Vietnam, Japan, Republic of Korea, China, India, and many other key markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

50 Million Passengers – A Symbol of Vietnam-Thailand Connectivity
After more than a decade of development, Vietjet and Vietjet Thailand have transported a total of 360 million passengers across their entire flight network. Specifically, the Vietnam-Thailand flight network has served 50 million passengers with 40 routes, nearly 1,000 flights per week, connecting 16 localities in Vietnam with 11 localities in Thailand.

Not only contributing to promoting tourism, trade, and investment, Vietjet Thailand has also become a familiar part of modern life for the Thai people. The airline currently creates tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs in the aviation, tourism, service, and logistics sectors, while contributing approximately 4.5 billion Baht to Thailand's budget from 2022 to 2025.
