Vietjet Air plans to resume international flights on January 1, 2022

With permission from the authorities of countries, budget carrier Vietjet Air expects to reopen regular international flights starting January 1 next year.

With permission from the authorities of countries, budget carrier Vietjet Air expects to reopen regular international flights starting January 1 next year.

These flights will be operated on routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (the Republic of Korea), Taipei (Taiwan - China), Singapore, and Bangkok (Thailand).

In the first stage beginning in January, all routes will see one return flight operated a week. The number of flights will be increased gradually in line with the demand of passengers and the approval of competent management agencies to ensure effective pandemic prevention.

In the next stage, the airline expects to resume all of its international routes to countries in the region and farther to India and Russia.

Flight schedules are published on Vietjet Air’s official website www.vietjetair.com, its smartphone application, Facebook page www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam, and official ticket offices and agents.

The resumption will follow directions and requirements of countries involved, with passengers asked to seriously comply with regulations on pandemic prevention and entry-exit procedures.
