Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Guangxi Daily, Mr. Song Chunfeng, proposed expanding cooperation with The World & Vietnam Report across various fields, notably including the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the media sector, organizing seminars and thematic forums, journalist exchanges, collaboration in professional journalism training, and promoting cultural, tourism, and sports exchange activities among the youth of both countries.

In addition, the development of self-driving tourism through border gates between Guangxi and Vietnam has been identified as a promising new area of cooperation. As such, Guangxi media agencies hope to strengthen collaboration with The World & Vietnam Report to widely promote this tourism model, thereby fostering and expanding the potential-rich tourism cooperation between the two countries.

Notably, Guangxi media agencies emphasized their readiness to cooperate with The World & Vietnam Report in promoting the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in media and communication activities, including AI-powered Masters of Ceremony, filmmaking, and news reporting. While modern technologies present great opportunities, they also pose significant challenges for media agencies in applying AI effectively, maximizing its potential, and mastering its use.

Mr. Jing Shuiqing, Editor-in-Chief of Wuzhou Media Center, noted that The World & Vietnam Report and the Center share many similarities in their media coverage, thereby offering a strong foundation for substantive cooperation in the media sector and the application of emerging technologies, particularly AI, in journalistic practices. Following today’s working session, both sides aim to establish strong communication channels to turn this cooperation potential into specific tasks and activities, contributing meaningfully to commemorating the important 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
