At Pac Bo Historical Site, where President Ho Chi Minh lived, worked, and directly led the Vietnamese revolution during the early years of his return to the country (1941–1945), participants were introduced to his life and revolutionary career, as well as key milestones in the struggle for national independence. Through vivid historical narratives, Vietnamese employees working in an international environment gained a deeper understanding of the value of peace, independence, freedom and of achievements earned through the sacrifices and hardships endured by previous generations. Many participants shared that the visit provided an opportunity to reflect on their roots and strengthen national pride, thereby fostering a greater sense of responsibility in their work and daily lives, and contributing to the promotion of an image of Vietnamese people as dynamic, professional, rich in cultural identity in the eyes of international friends.
Continuing the journey, the delegation visited Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most beautiful and majestic natural waterfalls in Southeast Asia and a prominent tourism symbol of Cao Bang Province. Before the pristine and magnificent beauty of border mountains, forests and cascading white waters amid a lush green landscape, the delegates could not help but feel moved and proud of the country’s rich natural potential.

On the same day, the SDDC, in coordination with the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, also organized a meeting with Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals in Vietnam to disseminate new regulations on social insurance, personal income tax, and regional minimum wages, while also implementing Party guidelines and sharing information related to labour management.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tho Xuong, Head of division of labour management for diplomatic corps, emphasized that as Vietnam continues to deepen its integration into the region and the world, the number of Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals has steadily increased.
This workforce has made positive contributions to promoting international cooperation, enhancing people-to-people exchanges, and promoting the image of Vietnam and its people. Therefore, the regular organization of meetings, exchanges, and dissemination of policies and laws is essential to safeguarding the lawful and legitimate rights and interests of employees, while also raising awareness of legal compliance.

At the program, delegates and employees were briefed on new legal provisions regarding social insurance, personal income tax, regional minimum wages, as well as regimes and policies directly related to working conditions, salaries, benefits, responsibilities of Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals. The contents were presented clearly and concretely, closely linked to practical situations, helping employees to easily understand and correctly apply the regulations.
In addition, the program devoted time to disseminating the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws related to the management of Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals; clarifying the roles and responsibilities of state management agencies and local authorities, as well as the obligation of employees to coordinate in building a stable, safe, transparent, and law-abiding working environment.
The organization of this meet-and-greet program not only contributed to improving the effectiveness of state management, but also created a two-way information exchange channel, enabling functional agencies to promptly grasp the aspirations, concerns, difficulties, and challenges faced by employees.
