Son La’s plum and agricultural products to be introduced in Hanoi

Son La’s plum and agricultural products will be introduced to Hanoi customers during a promotional week, which is scheduled at Big C Thang Long Trade Centre from June 1 to 5.

The event will be jointly held by the Son La Provincial Investment Promotion Centre and the Central Retail Group, under the direction of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Son La Provincial People's Committee.

It will feature 30 booths displaying OCOP products, safe agricultural products and typical fruits of Son La province, such as plum, mango, longan, avocado, dragon fruit, and guava.

According to Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong, the week provides a good opportunity to introduce the locality’s safe agricultural products to the Hanoi market, while helping to promote the consumption of local products.

For her part, Nguyen Thi Bich Van, Head of Communications, at Central Retail in Vietnam, reported that around 60 agricultural products of Son La province have hit the shelves at 18 supermarkets of Central Retail's outlets, such as GO!, Big C, and Tops Market.

She hailed that Son La Province’s products have received great interest and appreciation from customers.
