Accordingly, OpenNet will offer 10 scholarships, each worth 160 USD, to disadvantaged Vietnamese-Cambodian students in Viet Nam each month. The scholarships will be sent to them via the fund.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang hailed OpenNet’s effort for the cause of education and training for the Vietnamese community in Cambodia, especially its commitment to offer stable jobs to these students when they return to Cambodia after graduation.

The Vietnamese Embassy will direct the fund to work closely to offer the best practical benefits to students, he said.

Chairman of the Khmer-Vietnamese Association in Cambodia Sym Chi said over 100 Vietnamese-Cambodian graduates have so far earned stable jobs in Cambodia after they graduated from Vietnamese universities.
