Actress Lan Huong once shared that, even as grandparents, their love remains strong because they always treat each other as both friends and colleagues.
She explained, “Ky is the quiet type. We never exchange flowery words. On special days like birthdays, he may bring flowers, or sometimes he forgets - but I never get upset. My philosophy is to sacrifice and be content with what we have. I cherish the happiness I hold, and take my husband’s and children’s joy as my own. I feel lucky to have a husband in the same profession who understands and sympathises with me”.

In 2001, she won Best Actress at the Singapore International Film Festival with the feature film The Guava Tree (Mua oi). Beyond theatre, she made her mark in television with series such as “Gio lang Kinh”, “Bi thu tinh uy”, “Nep nha” and “Vet nang” cuoi troi. After retirement, she gained further recognition through popular dramas including Living with Mother-in-law, The Sunny Days of Youth and Fragrant Rice Flowers in the Wind. She was awarded the title of People’s Artist (NSND) in 2007.

He previously served as Head of the Arts Department at the Performing Arts Department and Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Drama Theatre. He was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist (NSUT) in 2011. |
