According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, this year's festival is the largest ever, featuring over 300 booths showcasing products and services, and enhancing business connections between the two countries.
After more than 50 years of diplomatic relations, Vietnam-Japan cooperation has increasingly expanded across various fields.
Notably, the elevation of their relationship to a “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World” in November 2023 provides a foundation to boost cooperation in economics, science and technology, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
Mr. Pham Dut Diem, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that the festival is not only an annual cultural exchange event but also holds diplomatic significance, reinforcing friendship and expanding cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Japanese localities, organizations, and enterprises in the fields of economy, education, tourism, and labor.

According to the organizers, two seminars will be held on March 6, focusing on Vietnam-Japan tourism trends and developing human resources for a sustainable future, with an emphasis on training high-quality personnel, adapting to digital transformation, and the green economy.
Mr. Ono Masuo, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, shared that this year's festival includes many interactive activities for young people such as designing áo dài, kimono, cultural exchanges, skateboarding, breaking, Double Dutch, BMX, and friendship cycling.
The music night is expected to feature artists Đông Nhi, B Ray, CAPTAIN BOY, and the group Psychic Fever From Exile Tribe.
