Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives 3,500 copies of 'Theo dau chan Nguoi' to support diplomatic activities

Attending the ceremony were Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association; Poet Huu Viet, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association; Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang, Director of the Vietnam Writers' Association Publishing House; and Master Huynh Thi Kim Huong, Secretary General of the Council of the Institute for Eastern Development Studies, who edited the translation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van highly appreciated the historical, literary value and significance of the book for diplomatic work. According to the Deputy Minister, the work, though historical, is expressed in a literary style, thereby contributing to the widespread dissemination of the thoughts and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh.
The Deputy Minister stated that the book has received positive support from the Vietnam Writers' Association, reflecting a shared responsibility in preserving and promoting the values of Ho Chi Minh's legacy.

Deputy Minister Ngo Le Van emphasized that among the pillars of diplomatic work, cultural diplomacy holds an important role. The promotion of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics, style, and diplomatic ideology to the world is always a focus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Deputy Minister, the work "Theo dau chan Nguoi" is a new tool with practical significance in implementing cultural diplomacy.
On behalf of the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Writer Trinh Quang Phu and Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association Nguyen Quang Thieu, along with other individuals involved, for donating these valuable books to the Ministry to support professional work.
The Deputy Minister also stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will effectively utilize the donated books, incorporating them into foreign affairs training courses and Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic ideology as an important reference. Additionally, the books will be sent to Vietnamese Representative Missions abroad, embassies, and consulates general to introduce and spread them to international friends.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association Nguyen Quang Thieu stated that Prof. Dr. Writer Trinh Quang Phu is one of the writers who has dedicated much of his life to researching and understanding President Ho Chi Minh and translating it into valuable literary works.
Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association Nguyen Quang Thieu expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' leadership for receiving and supporting the dissemination of the book collection. He believes that promoting the work not only introduces a literary piece but also helps convey values of character, culture, thought, and ethics of Vietnam through the image of President Ho Chi Minh.
He also highly appreciated the dedication of Prof. Dr. Writer Trinh Quang Phu in the process of creating and researching about President Ho Chi Minh. According to him, more young people are now researching and writing about Ho Chi Minh with new perspectives suitable for the current era, thereby continuing and spreading the values of his thoughts and ethics in each stage of the country's development.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association also stated that in the future, the Association will continue to implement more programs to promote literary works about President Ho Chi Minh to a wide audience both domestically and internationally.

Moved by the sincere sentiments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' leadership and staff, Prof. Dr. Writer Trinh Quang Phu expressed his honor in collaborating with the Vietnam Writers' Association to donate the book "Theo dau chan Nguoi". The writer shared that he had previously worked in the Foreign Affairs sector before 1975, thus he always regards the Ministry as "a warm home".
According to him, foreign affairs work, especially public diplomacy, is of great significance to the country. His time working in the sector and his trips abroad provided him with the opportunity to access, research, and exploit many valuable documents about President Ho Chi Minh to serve his writing.

He shared that he had discussed with Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu about donating the books to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to spread them to Vietnamese Representative Missions abroad, contributing to building a Ho Chi Minh cultural space at embassies and consulates general.
Writer Trinh Quang Phu also expressed his desire to collaborate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in translating and publishing the works into multiple languages such as French, Spanish, and Portuguese to reach readers in Africa, South America, and Europe. According to him, this will be an effective channel to promote Vietnam's thoughts, culture, and image to the world.
