On June 28, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Giang province held a meeting to evaluate the results of the 2024-2025 academic year and implement the main directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2026 academic year. Mr. Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from various departments, sectors, and educators attended the ceremony.
Focus on Investing in school Infrastructure
In the 2024-2025 academic year, the administrative reform performance indicators of the Education sector maintained a high level, ranking 1st out of 20 agencies under the Provincial People's Committee. The public satisfaction rate with public education continued to reach a high level (91.24%).
The implementation of the new general education program was directed seriously, flexibly, methodically, and effectively, earning high praise from the Ministry of Education and Training and parents. Examination work continued to see improvements and innovations, ensuring comprehensive education.
The Education sector of Bac Giang actively and proactively advised party committees and local authorities at all levels to issue programs, projects, and plans for educational development, implementing decisive breakthrough solutions to enhance comprehensive education quality, paving the way for a breakthrough in specialized education quality.
In the national excellent student competition, Bac Giang province ranked 4th nationwide in terms of the number of awards (99 awards). In the national science and technology research competition for secondary and high school students, Bac Giang had two projects winning second and fourth prizes. Over 1,000 primary school students achieved high awards in provincial and national competitions and playgrounds.
To continue improving the quality of teaching and learning, Bac Giang province focuses on investing in school infrastructure. To date, the province has achieved a 97.6% rate of solidified schools and classrooms (an increase of 1.2% compared to the same period last year); 95.7% of schools meet national standards level 1; 30% of schools meet national standards level 2.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the Bac Giang Education sector focuses on key tasks such as implementing decisive and synchronized solutions to achieve the goals of the 2025-2026 academic year plan.

Standing Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Mai Son urged the Bac Giang Department of Education and Training to prioritize the merger work, stabilize the organizational structure, and foster consensus, solidarity, and unity among staff and teachers to jointly build and develop the education career.
Based on post-merger realities, it is necessary to reassess the school system, personnel, and infrastructure to scientifically and reasonably develop a plan for the educational network for the 2026-2030 period, with a vision to 2045.
