A special feature of the program is the encouragement to gift Ao Dai to influential figures in the host countries. Designers from the Vietnamese Ao Dai Culture Association will support this gifting initiative.
Dr. Phan Bich Thien, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in Europe, and a Standing Committee member of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Culture Association, stated that the program aims to spread the message that Ao Dai is not only the national costume of Vietnam but also a cultural ambassador, representing a fusion of tradition and modernity, East and West.
In the multicultural space of Europe, amidst modern cities and ancient cultures, Ao Dai shines with its unique beauty, becoming a highlight of Vietnamese culture in the flow of integration.
Mrs. Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Women's Association in the Netherlands, Chairwoman of the Ao Dai Heritage Club in the Netherlands, believes the event will encourage young people of Vietnamese descent born and raised in Europe to be interested in, learn about, and love Ao Dai as a connection to their roots.
When the Ao Dai flutters in the European sky, it is not just the beauty of a garment but the breath of the homeland, the soul of Vietnamese culture shining in distant lands.
Mrs. Hoang Thuy Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Women's Association in the Czech Republic, is confident that the "Vietnamese Ao Dai Culture Month in Europe" campaign will be an opportunity for women and the Vietnamese community in European countries to unite and spread the cultural values of the Vietnamese Ao Dai to international friends.
