The Korea Beauty International Technology Association (KBIT), in collaboration with the Korean Medical Device Education and Training Support Center under the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency (SNIP), and Le Van Thinh Hospital, has recently hosted the 1st K-Beauty Advanced Skill Training Workshop (K.A.T 2025) in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event aimed to strengthen the international expansion of Korean medical devices while enhancing bilateral cooperation between Korea and Vietnam in the fields of aesthetic dermatology and plastic surgery.
The workshop brought together 11 leading Korean key doctors, including 5 professors from major university hospitals and 6 directors from top private clinics, who conducted lectures and live demonstrations before an audience of over 350 Vietnamese doctors and healthcare professionals.
At the Rex Saigon Hotel, the academic conference opened with a keynote speech by Prof. Heo Chan Young, Head of Plastic surgery at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, titled “K-Beauty: The Past, Present, and Future.”
Other distinguished speakers, including Prof. Park Eun Soo (Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital) and Dr. Kang Kyung Jin (Pascal Clinic), presented advanced clinical technologies in rhinoplasty, laser, RF, filler, lifting, and stem cell therapy, reflecting the excellence and global influence of Korean aesthetic medicine.

“KBIT is honored to serve as a bridge between Korean medical innovation and Vietnam’s professional development in aesthetic medicine,” shared Ms. Vo Thi Minh Thu (Mint Vo), Director of External Affairs at KBIT and Project Manager of K.A.T 2025.
“Through this partnership, we aim to establish sustainable platforms for education and technology exchange in aesthetic medicine across Asia.”
The highlight of the program was a 14-hour live training session held at Le Van Thinh Hospital, where Korean experts performed advanced aesthetic dermatology and plastic surgery procedures.
Among the participants were Prof. Kim Baek Gyu (Seoul National University Bundang Hospital), Prof. Kim Jong Ho (Seoul National University Bundang Hospital), Dr. Kim Byung Sun (Ribbon Clinic), Dr. Kim So Eun (The Allim Clinic), Dr. Park Young Jin (Obliv Clinic), Dr. Hong Won Gyu (Class One Clinic), and Dr. Lee Jeong Hun (Doctor Re:Made Clinic) - all performing live procedures and demonstrating clinical techniques using Korean medical devices as part of a new global education model.
