On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Hanoi’s Liberation Day (10/10/1954-10/10/2026), the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward is launching the "Dai lua ky uc" art space at the flower garden area and the promenade along the western bank of Hoan Kiem Lake, along Le Thai To Street, southwest of Turtle Tower.

This is an artistic decoration project in a public space, serving residents and tourists for sightseeing, strolling, taking photos, and capturing moments by Hoan Kiem Lake.

“Dai lua ky uc” combines a temporary assembled walkway with a lighting system and artistic mirror frames, creating additional rest stops and new perspectives of Hoan Kiem Lake. The project enriches the community's experience in a cultural and historical space closely associated with the lives of the capital's residents over many generations.

The highlight of the project is a winding walkway resembling a silk ribbon among the trees by the lake, designed to blend with existing greenery and be slightly elevated above the ground. This arrangement aims to minimise direct impact on the large tree root areas while maintaining the continuity of the landscape below.

The turns and open spaces along the walkway create stopping points for conversation, observation, and photography. From various angles, residents and tourists can view the water surface, Turtle Tower, and the Hoan Kiem Lake landscape in new frames, thereby creating experiences associated with the name “Dai lua ky uc”.

The components are assembled to provide decoration, sightseeing, and experiential elements during the exhibition period. After completion, all components will be dismantled, restoring the area to its original state.
