Hanoi hosts artistic fireworks to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress
WVR - On January 23 evening, Hanoi organized a large-scale artistic fireworks display at the My Dinh National Stadium to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress. This is one of the key cultural-political events, attracting significant attention from both locals and tourists.

According to the organizers, the fireworks display is part of an artistic program titled “Under the Glorious Flag of the Party”, at My Dinh National Stadium, starting at 8 PM on January 23, 2026.

The event concluded with a 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display, creating an impressive highlight for the entire program. The performance was choreographed into six consecutive, interconnected, and artistically rich sequences.
The fireworks launch sites are arranged on the roof and around the stadium stands. Specifically, pyrotechnic fireworks are installed on the roof and both wings of stand B, while high-altitude fireworks are launched from the mid-section of Le Duc Tho Street, extending past the clock tower to the open area in front of the Water Sports Palace (Tu Liem Ward).
The firing system was arranged in an arc formation, enhancing the viewing range for spectators both inside and outside the stadium area.
The organizers stated that approximately 10,000 fireworks units will be used during the event, including 4,600 high-altitude fireworks, 950 spray sets, and 4,400 pyrotechnic tubes.
This quantity is about four times higher than the annual fireworks events in Hanoi. The high-altitude fireworks reach heights of 110 to 200 meters, with a maximum illumination radius of approximately 150 meters; pyrotechnic fireworks around the stands reach heights of 50 to 90 meters.
To facilitate organization and ensure security, roads surrounding the My Dinh National Stadium will be completely closed to vehicles from 6 PM to midnight on January 23, 2026.
Residents were advised to arrange their transportation proactively, park outside the restricted area, and walk to viewing points, ensuring they arrive at least 60 minutes before the program begins.
The organizers also noted that attendees should arrive early to choose suitable positions, consider weather conditions and wind direction to avoid smoke obscuring their view, contributing to a safe and complete enjoyment of the spectacular artistic fireworks display.
