On January 22, the 14th National Party Congress continued its full-day session to discuss and implement personnel matters for the 14th Central Committee. General Secretary To Lam, Chairman of the Presidium, chaired the session on behalf of the Presidium.
Mr Le Minh Hung, Politburo Member, Member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat, and Head of the Commission for Organization, presented the report from the 13th Party Central Committee on personnel matters for the 14th Party Central Committee on behalf of the Presidium.
The National Party Congress discussed and passed a resolution to set the number of members of the 14th Party Central Committee at 200, including 180 official members and 20 alternate members.

Delegates at the National Party Congress worked in groups to study and discuss the personnel report for the 14th Party Central Committee; they also nominated, proposed, and reviewed personnel documents and profiles.
The Presidium listened to reports from delegation leaders on the discussion results regarding the personnel report for the 14th Party Central Committee, nominations, proposals, and cases of withdrawal from the candidate list for the 14th National Central Committee.
The Presidium reported to the National Party Congress and passed the electoral list for the 14th Party Central Committee; the Election Committee was elected, and it provided guidance on the voting process.
The Congress conducted voting, announced the results, and confirmed the list of elected members to the 14th Central Committee.
Tomorrow, January 23, in the morning, Congress delegates will rest while the 14th Central Committee holds its first meeting; in the afternoon, the Congress will convene for the closing session.
