Hanoi among 150 cities to host Viksit Bharat Run 2025 celebrating India’s vision of self-reliant future

The Embassy of India in Vietnam, jointly with the MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, will organise the Viksit Bharat Run 2025, on September 28, 2025 at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi as part of Seva Pakhwada, celebrated as Seva Parv, which reflects Seva Bhav and collective responsibility (September 17 - October 2, 2025).
Seva Pakhwada, also observed as Seva Parv, is a fortnight dedicated to service, responsibility, and collective effort, reflecting the spirit of Service (Seva Bhav). During this period, activities are organised in India and abroad to promote social responsibility, civic participation, and community service.
The Viksit Bharat Run 2025, the key highlight of this year’s Seva Pakhwada, is being organised across over 150 cities across the globe under the theme “Run to Serve the Nation.” The initiative commemorates the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (September 17, 1950 - September 17, 2025) and reinforces the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

The event will feature a Community Run of approximately 2-3 km, where citizens and the Indian diaspora will come together under the theme “Run to Serve the Nation.” Participants will also take the Viksit Bharat and Atmanirbhar Bharat Pledges, reaffirming their commitment to a Self-reliant and Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
As part of the initiative “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” tree plantation activities will be carried out to symbolize environmental responsibility and sustainability. The celebrations will include cultural participation by local community members, highlighting India’s development journey under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
