The figure represented nearly 60% of the set plan. Of these, over 1,500 houses have been completed and handed over to families in need.

The housing initiative provides financial support of 60 million VND (2,300 USD) for each newly constructed home and 30 million VND for each renovation. The total budget required for the programme amounts to nearly 460 billion VND. To date, the province has secured 241 billion VND from the central funding, 10 billion VND from KN Holdings Group, 4 billion VND from Truong Hai Agriculture JSC, and 2 billion VND from the Vietnam Rubber Group.

It targets three vulnerable groups, with 232 homes for policy beneficiary families and people who rendered service to the nation, 5,593 for impoverished households, and 2,660 for near-poor families.

Despite progress, the implementation faces several challenges, including a funding shortfall of some 83 billion VND, disparities in support levels between different programmes, and labour shortages.

As Gia Lai is working to complete the programme by June 2025, local authorities are accelerating construction while ensuring quality standards and mobilising additional resources.
