Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Giang Pao My asked agencies and localities to intensify communication efforts around key political events, notably Party congresses at all levels and the Party Central Committee’s policies on political system restructuring. This push aims to foster broad consensus and unity in implementation.
She directed the establishment of a Steering Committee and the building of a detailed plan to phase out district-level administration and reorganise grassroots administrative units efficiently. Concurrently, the province must refine the structure and operations of its agencies and localities, aligning with the Party Central Committee’s directives and the provincial Party Committee’s roadmap.
Beyond administrative reforms, My stressed consolidating national defence, security, and social order while safeguarding border sovereignty. The province was also tasked with carrying out its 2025 foreign affairs plan effectively, prioritising meticulous preparations for the fifth annual conference of provincial Party Secretaries and the 11th Joint Working Group Meeting with Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, and China’s Yunnan province.
Delegates delved into critical issues, including public investment disbursement, action plans for political system streamlining, and the provincial Party Committee’s inspection and supervision programme, among others.
