GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2026 is co-organized by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA), the German Industry & Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), and JW Marriott Hanoi, under the esteemed patronage of the German Ambassador in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
Held in Vietnam since 1992, GBA Oktoberfest has become one of the most anticipated annual festivals. In 2025, the festival attracted over 11,000 visitors, with more than 25,000 liters of beer served.
This year, Oktoberfest will continue in Ho Chi Minh City from September 24 to 26, in Da Nang on October 2, and in Hanoi from October 8 to 10,.
Entering its 34th season, Oktoberfest remains a cultural exchange hub, where business communities and citizens from various countries have the opportunity to meet, connect, and immerse themselves in the Bavarian festival atmosphere.
Regarding the festival, Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Chairman of the German Business Association in Vietnam, stated: “GBA Oktoberfest has long been more than just a festival; it is a vibrant bridge connecting the German and Vietnamese communities, while also fostering meaningful relationships among businesses, partners, and friends. As we enter the 34th Oktoberfest season in Vietnam, we are proud to continue this long-standing tradition and bring the authentic Bavarian spirit to three cities across the country.”
The authentic Bavarian experience remains a highlight of GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam. Attendees will immerse themselves in a lively night with German beer, traditional cuisine, live music, and the vibrant atmosphere that has made Oktoberfest famous worldwide.
This year, the Bavarian atmosphere is vividly recreated with energetic performances by the renowned German-Austrian band O'zapft, signature German dishes crafted by experienced chefs, premium imported German beers, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverage options for attendees.
With food and drinks served throughout the program, combined with entertainment and interactive activities, GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam offers attendees the opportunity to fully experience the flavors, traditions, and spirit of connection and sharing characteristic of Bavaria right in the heart of Vietnam.
Ms. Hoang Thanh Xuan, Head of External Communications and Branding - Messer Vietnam Industrial Gases Co., Ltd., part of the Messer Group (Germany), shared: “Over the years, Oktoberfest has become an eagerly awaited annual event, not only providing a unique cultural exchange space but also reflecting the increasingly strong and diverse relationship between Germany and Vietnam.
We are delighted to continue contributing to this year's series of events in three cities, thereby helping to connect the business community and citizens of both countries. We look forward to a successful festival season, with many meaningful connections, cultural exchanges, and above all, the spirit of friendship and unity between Germany and Vietnam.”
