Speaking at the opening on the afternoon of December 8, Dr. Vu Manh Ha – Party Secretary, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum emphasized that on the journey to find a way to save the country, under the light of the Russian October Revolution, directly influenced by V. I. Lenin's Thesis on National and Colonial Questions, Nguyen Ai Quoc-Ho Chi Minh chose and led the Vietnamese revolution to follow the path of the October Revolution.

He went to the Soviet Union to live, study, and engage in revolutionary activities, from which he built a close comradeship with the leaders of the Soviet Party, State, and people.

Following the path of the October Revolution, President Ho Chi Minh founded the Communist Party of Vietnam, leading the Vietnamese people in the struggle for national liberation, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Since Vietnam gained independence in 1945, in his capacity as President, Ho Chi Minh visited the Soviet Union several times.

Through these visits, he experienced firsthand the achievements of the Soviet Union in building socialism, promoting cooperative relationships.

From here, the Vietnamese revolution consistently received sincere and meaningful support from the Soviet Party, Government, and people, gradually completing the national democratic revolution and advancing towards building socialism.

Dr. Vu Manh Ha shared that the exhibition introduces the public to the revolutionary journey of Nguyen Ai Quoc-Ho Chi Minh in Russia during the years 1923 - 1924, 1927, 1934 - 1938 when he was seeking a way to save the country, as well as the journey of friendship that President Ho Chi Minh, in his capacity as President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam), left across the vast Soviet Union.

The footsteps of President Ho Chi Minh in the land of the October Revolution are a clear testament to the friendship between the two countries, reflecting his affection for the Russian people as well as the peoples of the Soviet Union, writing beautiful stories of loyal and steadfast friendship, always supporting and standing by each other in the revolutionary cause and nation-building.
