Within Vietnam’s overall external relations framework, management of Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals, including diplomatic missions, is a specialized field that plays an important role. This task is undertaken by the Division of Labour management for diplomatic corps, a professional unit under SDDC of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Division of Labour management for diplomatic corps is responsible for recruiting and managing Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals in Vietnam in accordance with Vietnamese law. Its activities not only fulfill state management functions, but are also closely linked to ensuring political security and social order, while contributing to effective implementation of Vietnam’s foreign affairs tasks.
Within Division organizational structure, the section in charge of selection and referral of Vietnamese employees plays a key role in connecting labor supply and demand, carrying out the task of selecting and introducing personnel to foreign organizations and individuals in Vietnam.
As the focal point for receiving recruitment support requests from foreign organizations and individuals under the management of SDDC, Division of Labour management for diplomatic corps is able to provide recruitment information in a timely and accurate manner, matching job requirements with qualifications, experience, and aspirations of Vietnamese employees.
At the same time, the Division receives applications from candidates, provides guidance on application procedures, and carefully selects and introduces highly qualified and capable candidates who meet the job standards of foreign organizations, enabling them to proactively recruit according to their needs.
As a result, the Division has been trusted and selected by many diplomatic missions, international organizations, and foreign non-governmental organizations as an effective recruitment support channel, helping to ensure transparency, professionalism, and compliance with regulations in recruitment and employment of Vietnamese workers.

To effectively fulfill these tasks, in addition to the website of SDDC and several social media platforms, Division of Labour management for diplomatic corps has developed and operates the recruitment introduction page Jobs for Embassies/NGOs - an official and dedicated information channel for Vietnamese employees seeking employment at embassies, international organizations, and foreign non-governmental organizations.
The page has attracted nearly 40,000 followers and serves as a space for sharing reputable and high-quality job opportunities, helping candidates find suitable positions in an international working environment.
Through the Jobs for Embassies/NGOs recruitment page, Vietnamese employees can regularly access updated recruitment information from embassies and other foreign organizations, with a wide range of positions across many fields such as translation and interpretation, public health specialists, communications assistants, event organization, visa officers, policy advocacy, community development, information technology, as well as support roles including chefs, security guards, drivers, gardeners, and cleaning staff.
With its experienced, legally knowledgeable, and dedicated staff, Division of Labour management for diplomatic corps continues to affirm its role as a trusted and high-quality human resources bridge, contributing to the building of a transparent, professional, and sustainable working environment for diplomatic community in Vietnam.
