On the afternoon of December 17, at the Diplomatic Academy, a meeting of the acceptance council for the Ministry-level science and technology project "Investment Project Management Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Legal Framework and Operational Regulations" took place, chaired by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Director General, MSc. Ngo Phuong Nghi – Project Leader, along with the project members, presented to the council, with the participation of guest experts and several department heads and key officials of the Department of Diplomatic Service.
The acceptance council was chaired by Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, President of the Diplomatic Academy. Council members included: Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of Legal Department, Vietnam Contractors Association; Dr. Nguyen Van Duc, Lecturer, Faculty of Construction, Hanoi University of Architecture; MSc. Nguyen Hong Quang, Deputy Chief of Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; MSc. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Head of Construction Investment Department, Department of Financial Management, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the acceptance meeting, Mr. Ngo Phuong Nghi presented an overview of the research results, structured into three chapters:
Chapter 1: Overview of construction investment management activities and the construction investment project management board in Vietnam.
Chapter 2: Legal basis and operational regulations of the specialized construction investment project management board suitable to the unique diplomatic characteristics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Chapter 3: Proposals for models and solutions to establish a specialized construction investment project management board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
After hearing the research results report from the project team, each council member provided constructive feedback, positively evaluating the ideas, content, and presentation structure, highlighting the practical significance of the project, which can be immediately applied to contribute to the comprehensive – professional – modern development of the sector's infrastructure.
Based on the feedback from each council member, Dr. Nguyen Hung Sơn, President of the Diplomatic Academy, Chairman of the Acceptance Council, agreed with the comments, evaluations, and critiques of the council members, highly appreciating the urgency, clear objectives and content, solid scientific methodology, practical relevance, and the project's challenging and novel aspects.
The President of the Diplomatic Academy requested the research team to fully incorporate the critiques and comments from the council members, continue to revise, supplement, and complete the project.
Based on the research results and feedback, the project was officially accepted by the council with an excellent rating.
