Da Nang: Various meaningful activities at the upcoming Vietnam-Japan Festival
The 2023 Vietnam-Japan festival in Da Nang City will take place from July 13-16, at Bien Dong Park (Son Tra district), featuring various meaningful activities.

This is a major event in the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic ties (September 21, 1973-2023).
Exchange activities in many fields aim to promote international cooperation relations between Da Nang City and Japanese representative agencies in Vietnam, with Japanese localities, organisations, businesses and artists.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a plan to organise the 2023 Vietnam - Japan Festival in Da Nang City.
The festival features main activities, including the opening ceremony of the festival; booths introducing Japanese-Vietnamese culture and products; a seminar on promoting Vietnam-Japan cooperation; seminar on Japan tourism; Japan Study Abroad Information Day; displaying drawings of students from Japanese cities that have cooperative relations with Da Nang; a football exchange class between young people in Da Nang city and Kawasaki Frontale football club, Japan.

In addition, there are art exchange activities including tea ceremony performances, Japanese flower arrangements, martial arts, Vietnamese-Japanese rock night, comic festivals, exchanges with famous Japanese artists; art performances by Vietnamese and Japanese art troupes and groups.
Japan is currently one of the strategic partners in the investment promotion of Da Nang City. Direct investment capital from Japan, into Da Nang over the years, has actively contributed to the overall development of Da Nang.
Japanese investment projects in Da Nang focus on manufacturing and processing industries, high technology, investment information, real estate, education, tourism and high-class entertainment.
