In 2025, the Son Tra Border Guard Station implemented comprehensive measures to manage, inspect, and control people and vehicles entering and exiting the maritime border area, ensuring smooth but lawful entry and exit procedures.

The unit registered entry and exit for nearly 12,000 vehicles with over 81,000 labor trips; organized 132 patrols with nearly 800 officers and soldiers participating. Through inspections, the unit fined 58 vehicle owners for administrative violations, amounting to over 709 million VND, and advised on fines for 11 vehicles totaling over 1.1 billion VND related to illegal fishing activities.

Additionally, the Son Tra Border Guard Station persuaded 498 vehicle owners and captains to sign commitments not to encroach on foreign waters for illegal fishing; maintained over 2,400 communication sessions through the direct watch system, receiving valuable information for rescue, salvage, and maritime sovereignty protection. Notably, 30 fishing vessels are regularly ready to participate in maritime defense missions when required.

At the conference, representatives of vehicle owners signed commitments to strictly adhere to maritime communication regulations and combat IUU fishing in 2026. Speaking at the conference, leaders of the Da Nang City Border Guard urged the Son Tra Border Guard Station to continue proactively understanding the situation early and from afar, promptly addressing arising situations, and accompanying fishermen in building a robust all-people border defense on the sea.

On this occasion, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 collectives and individuals for outstanding achievements in the movement "All people participate in safeguarding territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation"; supported 4 vehicle owners who encountered accidents at sea in 2025. The Son Tra Border Guard Station also presented 100 national flags to fishermen venturing offshore.
