The program was attended by representatives from the government, departments, and agencies of the northeastern provinces of Thailand, along with a large number of Vietnamese and Thai friends.
Speaking at the ceremony, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh highlighted Vietnam's proud milestones on the international stage. He emphasized that the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party has ushered in a new era for the nation, aiming to build a peaceful, prosperous, civilized, and happy country.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh expressed confidence that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand will deepen, becoming a model of cooperation in the ASEAN region.
Sharing the joy at the event, Khon Kaen Governor Khajornkiat Rakphanitmanee praised the cultural similarities between Vietnam and Thailand, considering them an important foundation for promoting cooperation in trade, investment, and tourism. He also mentioned the increasingly strong sister-city relationship between Khon Kaen and Da Nang, viewing it as a vivid symbol of the friendship between the two countries.

A representative from Udon Thani affirmed that the local Thai-Vietnamese community has been playing a crucial role as a bridge, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and fostering the friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.
Ho Van Lam, President of the Vietnamese Association in Thailand, recalled President Ho Chi Minh's teachings on the sacred significance of National Day, affirming that wherever they are, every Vietnamese person always looks towards their homeland. He urged the Vietnamese community to continue being good citizens, preserving the Vietnamese language and cultural values, thereby contributing to the friendship between the two countries.

In addition to political and diplomatic activities, the program also featured the Vietnam-Thailand Music Festival and the award ceremony for the “First Vietnam-Thailand Ao Dai Beauty Contest 2026”. These cultural exchange activities contributed to a lively atmosphere and strengthened the connection between the Vietnamese community in Thailand and the local people.
