Impressive Friendship Concert celebrating Vietnam's National Day in Romania
WVR - The Embassy of Vietnam in Romania, in collaboration with the Romanian Ministry of Culture and Cello Fundamento Vietnam, organized the Vietnam - Romania Friendship Concert to commemorate the 81st National Day of Vietnam at the Athenaeum, a cultural symbol of Bucharest, Romania.

The event was attended by Ana Cristina Tinca, State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the guest of honour, along with over 700 guests, including representatives from ministries, localities, associations, businesses, Romanian friends, ambassadors, and chargé d'affaires from the diplomatic corps in Bucharest, as well as a large number of the Vietnamese community in Romania.
Notably, the event was graced by the presence of Viorica Dancila, former Prime Minister of Romania, and Gabriel Oprea, former Acting Prime Minister of Romania.

Culture Paves the Way for Cooperation
In his opening remarks, Vietnamese Ambassador to Romania Le Vinh Thang affirmed that the traditional Vietnam - Romania relationship is thriving, nurtured over generations and tested by time, based on a solid foundation of friendship, trust, cooperation, and mutual assistance.
The Ambassador emphasized that cultural exchanges play a pivotal role in paving the way for trade, investment, and tourism cooperation, contributing to enhancing national prestige and brand.

Ana Cristina Tinca, State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighted the historical significance and sustainable development of the bilateral relationship; praised the friendship and bond between the Romanian and Vietnamese people built over decades; and appreciated the achievements in cooperation across various fields, expressing confidence that the traditional Vietnam - Romania relationship will continue to reach new heights.
Ambassador Le Vinh Thang also thanked the program sponsors, including Heritage World Magazine - the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association, Onsen Fuji Group, Thang Long Tobacco Company, 1689 Beckent Brewery, and Romanian companies Antibiotics IASI and HRANA.

Music connecting two nations
The Vietnam - Romania Friendship Concert featured various special performances, rich in national spirit, spreading the cultural identity and traditional beauty of Vietnam in its development and international integration process.
The program included performances by many Vietnamese artists, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, and the renowned Romanian Placello Quartet, creating a harmonious and emotional ensemble, filled with Vietnam - Romania friendship.
Here, Dr. and cellist Dinh Hoai Xuan, a graduate of the National University of Music Bucharest, performed with Romanian artists, serving as a vivid testament to the cultural connection between the two countries.

Conductor Dong Quang Vinh led the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra while bringing the sounds of Vietnam's mountains and forests to the audience. The Song of Ho Chi Minh was performed by clarinetist Nguyen Quoc Bao and cellist Ella Bokor.
People's Artist, Diva Thanh Lam excelled with the song Silence of Hanoi Night. Dr. and Meritorious Artist Le Hoai Phuong captivated the audience with the rustic and poignant sounds of the dan bau through the melody Longing for Homeland, composed by him. The song Return to Sorrento, featuring a violin duet by artists Trinh Minh Hien and Gabriel Gheorghe, under the direction of Conductor Bogdan Postelache, also left a lasting impression on the audience.

Notably, the ensemble Huong ve Ha Noi, featuring Dr. and artist Dinh Hoai Xuan, opera singer Ngo Huong Diep, and singer Hoang Thanh Thao, created the program's climax. Meanwhile, singer Kate Nguyen brought the song Hanoi 12 Seasons of Flowers.
Promoting Vietnam's image
Within the event's framework, various activities promoting tourism, cuisine, and Vietnamese brand products were organized, attracting the interest of numerous guests. Vietnamese products and traditional dishes contributed to introducing the image of Vietnam and its people to Romanian and international friends.

The concert concluded with the image of flowing ao dai and conical hats, leaving a cultural mark of Vietnam in the hearts of the audience. The program received a warm reception from the audience and guests, further strengthening the friendship between the two nations and opening up new cooperation opportunities.
In an interview with Prima News television channel, scholar Pavel Suian, author of the book Wonderful Vietnam, expressed his emotions when attending the program and considered it a memorable milestone, contributing to deepening the relationship between the two countries. He emphasized the need to continue preserving and promoting the traditional good friendship with Vietnam, thereby creating additional momentum and breakthroughs in economic cooperation.
