BRG Group and SeABank donate 5 billion VND to support disaster relief efforts

Recently, representatives from BRG Group, SeABank, and their subsidiaries donated 5 billion VND through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support communities in areas severely affected by natural disasters, aiming to stabilise their lives.

In recent years, extreme weather patterns and continuous flooding in many provinces of Central and Northern Vietnam have resulted in significant losses, including human lives, property, infrastructure, and production. Tens of thousands of households have been affected, many areas are isolated, and residents face numerous challenges.

In this context, BRG Group and its subsidiaries, in collaboration with SeABank, launched a program to donate one day's salary to support disaster relief efforts. This initiative received widespread support from senior leaders and employees nationwide.

At the donation ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen, Deputy General Director of BRG Group, shared that this gesture reflects the compassion of 22,000 employees towards their fellow citizens. It also underscores the commitment to social responsibility and community solidarity—a noble tradition upheld by BRG Group, SeABank, and their subsidiaries for over 30 years.

They provide essential resources for disaster relief and recovery efforts.

Over the years, BRG Group, SeABank, and their subsidiaries have actively participated in charitable activities, contributing to social welfare and community support. These include donating gratitude houses, solidarity houses, supporting the Fund for the Poor, the "For Vietnamese Children" scholarship fund, educational promotion funds, and aiding communities in disaster recovery.

These timely and practical actions not only demonstrate the company's commitment to the community but also spread a spirit of compassion and unity to overcome challenges, aiming for a better life for people nationwide.
