The Ambassador conveyed the warmest regards and best wishes from President Luong Cuong to President El-Sisi, the Government, and the people of Egypt. He also expressed a strong commitment to enhancing the relationship between the two nations, particularly focusing on implementing the outcomes of President Luong Cuong's state visit to Egypt in August 2025, which elevated the relationship framework to a Comprehensive Partnership.
The upgrade to a Comprehensive Partnership reflects the significance of the bilateral relationship in this new phase, establishing higher political trust at all levels. It expands the scope and depth of cooperation in a comprehensive, substantive, and profound manner across all fields.
This upgrade also promotes and strengthens new cooperation mechanisms based on respect for international law, independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the political systems of each country.
To realize the vision of the Comprehensive Partnership, both countries have agreed to enhance cooperation in key areas such as politics – security, economy, agriculture, and science and technology.
Egyptian President El-Sisi congratulated Ambassador Nguyen Nam Duong on his new assignment and expressed his admiration and affection for Vietnam and its people.
President El-Sisi stated that both the State and he personally highly value the developments in the bilateral relationship in recent times and affirmed his special attention to further strengthening the Vietnam-Egypt relationship.
