| The Japanese Communist Party (JCP), established on July 15, 1922, is one of the oldest and largest political parties in Japan. The party operates based on scientific socialism/communism, pursuing a path of democratic peace and reflecting an independent viewpoint. Although not in power, the Japanese Communist Party currently has a large membership and certain influence in Japanese politics. The Japanese Communist Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam established relations in 1966. During Vietnam's resistance against the U.S., the Japanese Communist Party actively supported Vietnam materially and spiritually through popular movements. The traditional friendship and cooperation between the two Parties are being well maintained and are deepening through theoretical exchanges, interactions, high-level delegation exchanges, thereby contributing to political trust, positively impacting peace and stability in the region and internationally, and strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan. |
