Vietnam's Permanent Mission to the United Nations congratulates Laos on 50th National Day
WVR - On December 8, in New York City, USA, Ambassador Do Hung Viet, Head of Vietnam's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, along with his spouse, and key officials of Vietnamese representative mission in New York, extended congratulations to Ambassador Thongphane Savanphet, Head of Laos' Permanent Mission to the United Nations, his spouse, and all staff members on the occasion of the 50th National Day of Laos.

Ambassador Do Hung Viet warmly congratulated the Party and State of Laos for successfully organizing the grand celebrations of the 50th National Day, which saw the participation of numerous citizens and international friends.
The Head of the Vietnamese Mission expressed joy and highly appreciated the significant progress made by the Party, State, and people of Laos in socio-economic development and international integration. He is confident that recent diplomatic achievements, including contributions from Laos' Permanent Mission to the United Nations, will continuously enhance Laos' position and role on the international stage.

The Head of the Lao Mission expressed his wish for the Lao and Vietnamese Missions in New York to continue fostering their tradition of close coordination and mutual support, as well as promoting ASEAN solidarity and role at the United Nations.
In a friendly and brotherly atmosphere, the two Ambassadors, Heads of Missions, expressed their delight at the success of the recent state visit to Laos by General Secretary To Lam. They also highlighted the important outcomes of the high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the 48th session of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee, which help guide and deepen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Laos.
