Immediately after the incident, the embassy contacted local authorities to promptly verify and search for Vietnamese citizens who could have been injured in the blaze. As of Tuesday afternoon, two of the three dead were positively identified as not being Vietnamese, while the third victim remains unidentified.

Thirteen Vietnamese were among the injured. They are being monitored and receiving treatment at four local hospitals, with all expected to make a full recovery. Several have already been discharged from the hospitals.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is continuing to instruct the embassy to keep a close eye on the case, get regular updates from local authorities, and take the necessary steps to protect Vietnamese citizens.
