Vietnamese Embassy in France congratulates Laos on its 12th Congress

Vietnam always values and cherishes the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation with Laos.

During the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Van Anh and Chargé d'affaires Pham Quang Anh extended warm congratulations to the Party, State, and people of Laos on the successful 12th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

They also congratulated the newly elected leadership, expressing confidence that the Congress has set important directions for the continued stable development of Laos, improving the people's living standards and enhancing its international standing.

Ambassador Nguyen Thi Van Anh and Chargé d'affaires Pham Quang Anh emphasized that Vietnam always highly values and cherishes the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation with Laos, affirming that this is an invaluable asset built by generations of leaders and people from both countries, which must be preserved and promoted for future generations.

Expressing gratitude for the congratulations and goodwill from Vietnam, Lao Ambassador to France and Head of the Lao Delegation to UNESCO, Kalamoungkhoun Souphanouvong, affirmed that Laos always prioritizes strengthening and enhancing the special Vietnam-Laos relationship. He also expressed appreciation for the effective cooperation and support between the representative missions of the two countries in France over the past period.

The Lao Ambassador extended his best wishes for the successful organization of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Regarding the outcomes of the 12th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Ambassador Kalamoungkhoun Souphanouvong stated that the Congress thoroughly reviewed the implementation of the 11th Congress resolutions, restructured leadership at all levels, and set out directions and tasks for national development in the upcoming term. This aims to lay a crucial foundation for Laos's sustainable development, moving towards the 100th anniversary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party in 2055.

On this occasion, the Lao Ambassador also extended his best wishes for the successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, expressing confidence that the Congress will usher in a new phase of development, providing significant momentum for Vietnam's continued strong growth and positive contributions to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

During the meeting, both sides also discussed coordination directions for activities in the area in the near future, continuing to share information and experiences in foreign affairs and community support. This aims to further promote the image and special Vietnam-Laos solidarity to international friends.

Ambassador Kalamoungkhoun Souphanouvong expressed his delight upon hearing that the newly appointed Vietnamese Ambassador to France Trinh Đuc Hai, is preparing for his term and hopes for many collaborative and exchange activities between the representative offices of the two countries in the future.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, vividly demonstrating the close and trusting relationship between the two countries, contributing to the everlasting and sustainable Vietnam-Laos relationship.
