Budget carrier Vietjet has declared the opening of three new direct routes connecting Da Nang, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with two of India’s largest economic, political, and cultural centres, New Delhi and Mumbai.

The Da Nang - New Delhi and Ha Noi - Mumbai routes will commence operations on May 14, with a frequency of five and three flights per week, respectively. Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City - Mumbai route will operate four weekly flights from May 15.

Travellers can book tickets via Vietjet’s official channels, including the airline’s website at www.vietjetair.com, the “Vietjet Air” mobile app and the airline's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam (clicking the “Booking” tab).

Customers can also book by calling the hotline at +8419001886 or by going to any official agent or ticket office of Vietjet. Payments can be made using Vietjet SkyClub, Visa/MasterCard/AMEX/JCB/KCP/UnionPay cards, or with any ATM card issued by 34 Vietnamese banks and registered with internet banking.

Bamboo Airways has announced that the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has licensed the airlines to operate a direct flight connecting Ha Noi and Prague – the capital of the Czech Republic. The first flight is expected to operate on March 29, with a frequency of two flights per week and will continue to increase depending on passengers’ actual needs.

The expected flight time is 11 hours and 20 minutes for the Ha Noi - Prague route and 10 hours and 20 minutes for the return flight, significantly shortened from the normal 14-19 hours taking connecting flights at a European or Middle Eastern city.
