The conference attracted attention and remarks from senior representatives of nearly 130 countries and international organizations, focusing on efforts to promote the implementation of the two-State solution and to build sustainable peace in the Middle East.
During the first two working days, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, President of the 79th UN General Assembly Philemon Yang, along with more than 60 ministers and high-ranking officials from various countries, delivered speeches emphasizing the significance of this conference and expressing hope that it would serve as a milestone and new impetus to restart the dialogue process towards peaceful coexistence between the State of Israel and the State of Palestine.
Delegates called on the international community to support the development of a roadmap for the establishment of an independent Palestinian State, while ensuring security for Israel. They affirmed that recognition of the State of Palestine is a key factor for peace and stability in the Middle East.
Amid prolonged conflict and an escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, most delegates called on all parties involved to exercise restraint, immediately end unilateral actions and violations of international law that hinder the prospects of realizing the two-state solution.

He expressed deep and unwavering solidarity with the just struggle of the Palestinian people.
The Head of Vietnam’s Delegation called on all parties to return to negotiations and to abide by the UN Charter, international law, provisional measures of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and relevant United Nations resolutions.
Affirming that Vietnam’s history of resisting foreign aggression and striving for national independence had prompted it to recognize the State of Palestine 37 years ago, Ambassador Do Hung Viet emphasized Vietnam’s steadfast support for the two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders. He also reiterated Vietnam’s commitment to actively contributing to the peace process and post-conflict reconstruction in Gaza, helping to ensure peace, stability, and sustainable development for the Palestinian people.
Earlier, on July 23, at the UN Security Council Open Debate on the Situation in the Middle East and Palestine, Ambassador Do Hung Viet had also delivered a statement expressing deep concern over the prolonged conflict, acts of violence targeting women and children, and worsening hunger in the Gaza Strip. He called on all parties to cease hostilities, release hostages, and refrain from unilateral actions that hinder the efforts of the UN and humanitarian organizations to assist affected civilians.
