On the afternoon of February 13, during the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Spokesperson was asked to comment on reports that, this past January, during his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the meeting, Vietnam reportedly expressed its willingness to provide a venue and make the best possible efforts to facilitate activities aimed at finding peaceful solutions to conflicts.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated, 'Vietnam supports international mediation efforts to seek lasting and peaceful solutions to conflicts, with the participation of all relevant parties, in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter. Vietnam is also ready to work with the international community to promote dialogue and find peaceful solutions to bring an early end to ongoing conflicts."
