Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Overseas Vietnamese Liaison Association Nguyen Lan Trung, who also serves as head of the organisation board, announced the event at a press conference on July 14.

The forum will also help connect the overseas Vietnamese community abroad and promote business opportunities in Vietnam, Trung said, adding that it will provide the platform to introduce the country’s potential and policies on startups, trade and investment.

Within the forum, there will be business-matching events, and trade and investment facilitation conferences for businesses from two countries.

Nearly 5,000 businesses are expected to attend the forum.
