On the afternoon of November 6, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang informed that from November 11-14, a delegation from the Communist Party of China, led by Politburo Member, Secretary of the Secretariat, and Head of the Party Central Committee's Department for Communication Li Shulei, will visit Vietnam. They will co-chair the 20th Theoretical Workshop between the two parties with Politburo Member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang.

According to Spokesperson Hang, this high-level diplomatic activity takes place during the "Year of Vietnam-China Humanistic Exchange" and commemorates the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.

"In recent times, we have witnessed positive developments in the relationship between Vietnam and China," the Spokesperson emphasized.

Accordingly, the relationship between the two countries has undergone significant and comprehensive transformations guided by the "Six More" orientation. Economic, trade, investment, and tourism cooperation have seen robust growth; local cooperation and people-to-people exchanges have been vibrant.

Recently, the two Parties has maintained regular theoretical exchanges with positive results, enhancing mutual understanding and political trust. It also allows both sides to learn from each other's experiences in party building and national governance, becoming a highlight in the cooperation between Vietnam and China.

On this occasion, both sides will discuss major directions for cooperation between the two Parties and countries in the future, especially in theoretical exchanges, strengthening the social foundation of the relationship between the two Parties and countries. This will contribute to concretizing and effectively implementing high-level common understandings and the Vietnam-China Joint Statement.

During this visit, in addition to co-chairing the 20th Theoretical Workshop between the two Parties, China's Head of the Communication Department Li Shulei is expected to have meetings with key Vietnamese leaders, visit several socio-economic facilities, and engage in other important diplomatic activities.
