Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated that during the visit to Cuba, Minister Le Hoai Trung held meetings with First Secretary, President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, and engaged in talks with Politburo Member, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla. On the morning of June 22, he also announced the results of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam at a conference organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, chaired by First Secretary, President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel.
Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang noted that during these meetings, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung introduced the goals, major orientations, and key tasks, as well as the strategic breakthroughs set forth by the 14th National Party Congress. He also shared insights on theoretical and practical issues concerning the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam.
During the visit to Cuba, Minister Le Hoai Trung also conveyed a message from General Secretary, President To Lam to General Raul Castro Ruz and First Secretary, President of Cuba Diaz-Canel, affirming Vietnam's deep concern and consistent stance to strengthen solidarity and support the revolutionary cause of the Cuban people. He expressed a determination to accompany Cuba in promoting cooperation for the development of both nations and for global peace and stability.
In Venezuela, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung met with the interim President of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez Gomez and General Secretary of the United Socialist Party, Minister of Interior, Justice, and Peace Diosdado Cabello. He also held talks with Venezuela's Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto and Vice President Calisto Ortega. The Minister participated in the Vietnam-Venezuela Business Forum and engaged in several other significant activities in the country.

During the discussions and meetings in Venezuela, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung also informed Venezuelan officials about the significant outcomes of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and some of Vietnam's socio-economic development achievements in recent times.
“Both sides agreed to continue promoting bilateral cooperation in areas where both countries have strengths and needs in the coming period. They also agreed on the agenda and to soon develop a bilateral action plan for the 2026-2030 period and to organize the Intergovernmental Committee meeting soon, aiming to commemorate the 20th anniversary of establishing the comprehensive partnership framework between Vietnam and Venezuela in 2027,” Spokesperson Hang informed.
