Toyota’s hybrid car sales in Vietnam increase by 46% in January

Toyota Vietnam on February 4 announced that it sold 3,346 vehicles of all types in January, an increase of 46% over the same period last year.

Of the total sales, there were 929 domestically assembled cars and 2,417 completely imported cars. In particular, Toyota's hybrid car models recorded impressive growth with 565 units, an increase of 504% compared to the figure in January 2024. This shows the trend that consumers are increasingly interested in fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles.

Besides Toyota models, in January, Lexus also brought new experiences to 70 customers with total cumulative sales reaching 13,882 units since the brand was introduced in Vietnam.

Among Toyota's car lines, Yaris Cross led the sales with 645 units, followed by Vios with 490 units and Innova Cross with 480 units. Other car models, including Corolla Cross, Veloz Cross and imported completely-built-unit (CBU) cars also contributed significantly to the total sales.
