The top legislator emphasized four basic issues that need to be taken into account when revising the Land Law.
First, it is necessary to closely follow and institutionalize guidelines, orientations and policies in the 13th National Party Congress Document, as well as Party resolutions and conclusions, and the legislature’s resolutions.
Second, the revised law should inherit regulations of the land law over the past periods that have proved to be correct.
Third, the uniformity, compatibility and feasibility of the legal system must be ensured to create motivation for socio-economic development.
Fourth, the amendment process needs to be implemented in a methodical, scientific and objective manner, with selective reference from the experiences of countries, and the collection of opinions from people.
Chairman Hue asked participants to focus on regulations on the rights, obligations and responsibilities of stakeholders in land-related legal relations.
